Why Illinois?
It’s a bit tenuous. The title of this blog is kind of a homage to Welcome to Holland, an essay written by Emily Perl Kingsley about having a child with Down’s syndrome – also known as Trisomy 21. Illinois was the 21st state to join the United States. I couldn’t think of a decent blog title involving the phrase “Down’s syndrome.”
I have only ever transferred flights in Illinois.
